About Youth Advantage
Inside every child is a spark - something that excites and empowers him or her to do more and do better. Every child deserves to find this spark. Youth Advantage helps youth from families in need in the Stillwater area pursue their passions in extracurricular activities including athletics, music, visual arts and science/academics by providing activity education/guidance, financial assistance and the required instrument or athletic equipment so that he or she can ignite this spark. Youth Advantage connects children from families in need to their peers through participation in these extracurricular activities, promoting the social, mental, emotional, and physical developmental assets deemed necessary for a healthy and productive adulthood. Youth Advantage aims to provide access to arts, athletics, and educational-enrichment experiences for children of financially-challenged parents or guardians who reside in District #834 boundaries. Youth Advantage recognizes that giving children positive opportunities puts young people on a path to success.
