About Youth Entrepreneurship Development Foundation

The Youth Entrepreneurship Development Foundation (YEDF) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation created to plant the seeds of entrepreneurship and training in the fields of study related to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in the minds of African American students and families. YEDF will nurture the seeds planted to yield a bountiful harvest of greater awareness and academic ability to improve the nation's competitiveness in technology and overall workforce development. YEDF will accomplish this by implementing an after school training program, which is designed to eliminate barriers and create a bridge to connect students to disciplines related to STEM, entrepreneurship, health and wellness and character development at an early age. Currently, YEDF values the collaborative partnerships with NASA and Dayton Public Schools, in addition to various businesses in the Dayton/Miami Valley community, including CareSource, Kroger, Key Bank, Standard Register, the Associate Foundation of Reynolds and Reynolds and the Ohio Space Grant Consortium.
