About Youth Forum for Asian Representation
The recent rise of anti-Asian sentiment has culminated into violent assaults across Canada and the United States. We believe in a democracy the lack of Asian representation across all spectrums of Canadian government hinders the ability for us to effectively respond and address these issues. The purpose of this Forum is to breakthrough cultural barriers that have led to historically low voter turnout rates and explore how we can inspire our next generations of Asian-Canadians to further participate in our democratic process.
