About Youth Impact Mentoring (formerly Boys to Men Phx))

Youth Impact Mentoring is a 501c3 that shows up tp guide and support struggling boys and girls 12-18 as they journey toward successful adulthood. Weekly In-school group mentoring runs by a team of men and women mentors, that show up each week with the same 12 to 15 youth to get real. The mentors and youth are challenged to drop their mask and get real about what is working or not working in their middle or high school life. This unique space is safe for boys and girls to speak about the positive and scary stuff they deal with everyday, many times alone. Our mostly fatherless youth, tell us that they realize they are not the only ones struggling, that other kids and even the adults deal with similar thoughts and stress. They are grateful to have a safe place to drop their armor and get real with support from their peers and caring mentors, with being judged. The youth discover the change that they know they want in order to become the successful adults they want to be.
