About Youth Philanthropy Council

Since 2018 the Youth Philanthropy Council’s missions has been to help break the poverty cycle through providing basic necessities such as education and healthcare. The organization focuses on empowering kids and teaching them the capability their voices hold, even at a young age. Below you'll find a list of our progress: 2019: -Individually raised over 100k to build a new wing for the San YSidro Health Child and Maternal Center -Broke the record for most funds raised at San YSidro Gala coming in over 135K 2020: -Participated in BLM marches and murillas, -Raised funds for a severely underdeveloped school in Kenya raising 30k to build a new one -Over 200k in retail value from shoe drive giveaway -Helped provide PPE to seniors and essential workers (over 40k retail) 2021: -Raised over 90k (retail) worth of clothing for underprivileged kids and homeless -Created "Saint Nicks Kicks", a shoe drive in which we donated 13,000 brand new shoes valued at over 1.2 million dollars (retail)(biggest Shoe Drive in San Diego) -Hosted over 200 volunteers and raised over 20k to pay for entire event -Between Shoe and Clothing Drive over 18,500 people were helped. -Over 1,844,000 raised over the past 3 years
