About Yucaipa Valley Water District
The Yucaipa Valley Water District actively manages the local groundwater and surface water supplies to provide high quality drinking water to the Yucaipa Valley which consists of the City of Calimesa, City of Yucaipa and unincorporated area of Riverside and San Bernardino counties. In addition to serving two cities in two counties, the Yucaipa Valley Water District is one of the few retail water agencies served by two State Water Contractors, the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District and the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency. As a leader in building a sustainable community, the Yucaipa Valley Water District has implemented the use of molecular filtration systems at the water filtration facility and the sewer treatment plant to provide exceptionally pure drinking water and recycled water. The fully integrated services to the community have been expanded to now provide recycled water for front yard and backyard irrigation to new homes which dramatically reduces the amount of drinking water needed for new development. The staff members of the Yucaipa Valley Water District are uniquely trained to provide the highest level of service to the Yucaipa Valley.
