About Yung Hee Kim Art Advisory

Yung Hee Kim, President of NY Projects Inc., is an art advisor and private art dealer with decades of experience and an extensive knowledge of the art world that allows her to shape valuable and unique contemporary art collections. She fosters relationships with collectors, dealers, museum professionals, and auction house personnel, providing her select clients with exclusive access to high-quality and rarely available works. After founding NY Projects Inc. in 2007, Ms. Kim produced a series of prototype limited-edition design pieces in partnership with Zaha Hadid Architects and worked closely with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and national museums on important international art exhibitions and design projects. She currently serves on the Contemporary Art Council for the Asia Society and the Asia-Pacific Acquisitions Committee for the Tate. Before entering the art world she studied journalism at Ewha Womans University in South Korea, where she was born. She went on to obtain a master’s degree in computer science from American University in Washington, D.C., which led her to work for the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a systems analyst, and for Hyundai USA where she gained valuable analytical skills that she still uses today. Yung Hee Kim was appointed a Young Associate Director in 2013.
