In 2014, I got fired from what I thought was my dream job. It was one of the hardest things I’ve been through. It was also one of the greatest blessings of my life. Like most businesses, mine started from experiencing problems, solving them, and sharing the solutions with others. Fempreneur Marketing School and the 'Find Your Voice' book were born out of my desire to help women succeed. If we haven't met yet, my name is Lyndsie Barrie. My first business was a mobile hairdressing company which I started because one of my clients told me I should. She was right - it was a huge success. Plus it allowed me to work when, where and with whom I wanted (not in a salon). Almost twenty years later, I realized (with the help of the Hoffman Process) that my attitude towards working with women needed to change - I needed to get rid of the competitive mindset and become a team player. I needed to follow my heart and share the valuable business lessons I learned in building first my hairdressing business and then my financial consulting business with women. Getting fired from my job at a large international investment firm was the tipping point that led me to offering my first ever FREE six week marketing school in February 2019. My marketing school remained free until 100 women graduated, then I began charging an affordable price for what every graduate says is a "life-changing experience". My dream became a reality and continues to get bigger and better - a community of women who want to help one another succeed has formed and is growing every day! By the end of 2021, over 200 women will have completed Fempreneur Marketing School *NOT* because the stuff I'm teaching is amazing. It's because the women in this community are amazing. We were all looking for one thing: community 1st and education 2nd - and we've found it. In January 2021, we launched our online community, FempreneurLand.com. I hope to see you there! ~Lyndsie
