About Zastava 101 Club

ZASTAVA 101 CLUB was founded in 2011. Main goal was a fully organised,international owner's club with following activities: Annual gathering organization, creating of media publications, providing car restauration services, web based forum, social media activities, creation of an archive with historical data related to Zastava 101 car,research related to historical legacy and constant interviews with individuals related to the car and manufacturer.The most succesful project was:"Expedition Zastva 101 drom Kragujevac to Kilimanjaro", which has taken place in 1975, and completely forgotten over the years with almost no material available in official archives. In 2018, most of the activities were closed,and the Club was converted into the archive,dedicated to car legacy of ZASTAVA 101. Chief Archivist postition was introduced and handed over to Novica Markovic (founder of the Club and dedicated historian), with the following duties: -Plan and manage the web based activities in order to preserve automotive legacy of ZASTAVA 101 (automobile); ensure that the ZASTAVA 101 CLUB Archives functions effectively as the deposit for the Organization's records, documents and publications; lead records management services by developing, maintaining and enforcing records access and retention policies. -Establish, develop, operate and manage online library and information services and social networks -Enhance the role of the ZASTAVA 101 CLUB Archives towards the online communities and the public by promoting easy and well-structured access to the documentary resources and by developing outreach activities -Identify priorities and targeted projects, including projects on preservation, digitization and access the archival material related to ZASTAVA 101 - Represent the ZASTAVA 101 CLUB Archives in various international activities, through cooperation with ZASTAVA 101 owners clubs
