About ZECK Limited
The Limpet heating system consists of a range of patented, intelligent, microprocessor controlled, waterproof compact heating modules that can be fitted on a wide range of equipment to provide process heat or heat maintenance for industrial processes or frost protection. It is ideal for fitting to pumps, valves, meters, pipes, pipe flanges, tanks, IBCs, vessels and other equipment that is difficult or expensive to heat using traditional means, such as trace heating, hot air, induction electrical heaters or hot water systems. The Company has a range of heating products: - The patented AlphaLimpet is a modular, intelligent, sealed, process heating device which is mounted on an adaptor block that is secured to the item being heated. It can heat up to 80°C. - The BetaLimpet is a "slave" unit the same size as the AlphaLimpet which is normally driven from a control AlphaLimpet, either with a pre-set temperature or with external temperature control. - The MicroLimpetTM is a smaller heating unit that can either work independently with a pre-set temperature control or act as a "slave" unit driven from a control AlphaLimpet. It can heat up to 250°C. - The OmegaLimpet is a pipe flange heater with a pre-set temperature control. Various size options are available for easy installation to a range of standard pipe flange sizes. It can heat up to 250°C. - The DeltaLimpet is a suitably-profiled adaptor block containing a suitably-rated electrical heater controlled by a variable thermostat. These can be a standard size or customised to fit onto a particular workpiece and can operate up to 300°C.
