About Zeebes

We aim to contribute to a sustainable aquaculture sector by developing a seafood feed that has zero impact on nature. People should be able to enjoy healthy seafood without feeling guilty about its harmful impact. On land there is not much space left for the production of more proteins but the oceans are still full of opportunities. Therefore, we study the possibility of turning ascidians into high quality seafood feed. Despite our focus on aquaculture, the problem is similar in agriculture and its scale even much larger. Our first interest is to produce a shrimp feed product, but from there we see many more opportunities for ascidians: not only in feed but even in nutrition and nutraceuticals.
