About ZENIT

You want to implement innovations, are looking for partners for technology or research projects, are interested in the topic of internationalization or need information about funding for innovative ideas? Then the Center for Innovation and Technology in North Rhine-Westphalia, or ZENIT for short, is the right place for you. On behalf of the EU, the federal government and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, we have more than 60 employees who support primarily small and medium-sized technology-oriented companies as well as universities and research institutions in their innovation and internationalization activities and bring together potential partners from business and science. But our clientele also includes start-ups, fast-growing and large companies. The central goal is to pave the way for good ideas to become marketable products and services. And to help these to international success and to strengthen NRW as a business location. To meet this challenge, we create and use regional, national and international networks. As a public-private partnership, we have been the innovation and European agency for small and medium-sized businesses and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia since 1984. Shareholders are the North Rhine-Westphalian state government, the network ZENIT e.V. with around 200 medium-sized companies and a consortium of banks.
