About Zenith Engineering Pty
Zenith Engineering Pty Ltd was established in October 1945 by brothers Tom and Terry Jennings, together with Jim Carroll, during a time of post-war reconstruction. Their vision was to manufacture automotive and hydraulic components to support Australia's industrial resurgence. Today, more than eight decades later, the business remains proudly owned and managed by the families of the original founders. In 1979, Zenith Engineering entered a new phase, forming a strategic partnership with General Motors GM Components Division to support the distribution of Isuzu diesel engines. Recognised for our expertise in application engineering, we have since applied Isuzu engines to a vast range of industrial and marine solutions. With over 45 years of experience, Zenith continues to work closely with Isuzu—now the world's largest producer of diesel engines. Between 1945 and 1979, Zenith Engineering also developed strong ties across the agricultural and mining sectors. Our close collaboration with mining industry professionals led to the design and development of a high-pressure grout pump, widely used in underground mining operations for cable bolting applications. Today, Zenith Engineering operates a comprehensive engineering and component design facility from The Yard in Brisbane, located in the suburb of Hemmant. We continue to uphold our legacy of innovation, reliability, and partnership across a broad spectrum of industries.
