About Zenith Sports and Event Management
The origins of Zenith Sports and Event Management go back to the mid 1980s, when founding partner Chris Tanner travelled the suburbs of Sydney Australia, selling advertising space in indoor sports centres. Over the following decade he established himself as a successful sports and events marketer, applying the science of marketing to the industry that he loved. "It is not about selling your sport, it is about using your sport to sell products for your client and enhance his bottom line” he said at the time. His drive, and passion to do things the right way, saw record sponsorship incomes, ground attendance, membership numbers and commercial partnerships occur in sports such as rugby league, football, surfing, boxing, aerial skiing, indoor cricket, motor racing, squash and sailing. In 1996, he formed Zenith Sports and Event Management, after prompting from former England international footballers Tony Woodcock and Kenny Sansom. Both were impressed by Zenith’s strategies for athlete management and event production, and urged him to broaden operations on a global scale as soon as possible. Zenith now spans the globe, servicing the needs of athletes, coaches, officials, clubs, groups, and national federations. We work across a range of sporting codes, and we deliver a wide range of events (sports, music, community, cultural) from planning to conclusion. Zenith Sports and Event Management offers the experience and expertise that gives all of their clients “the winning edge”. Our unique services and business strategies deliver total management.
