About ZH Architects
ZH Architects, founded in 2002 is a partnership that draws upon the varied experiences of each of its principals - Stas Zakrzewski and Marianne Hyde. Comprised of a dynamic and talented group of architects and designers we have built a team with varied and complimentary skill sets. Together we approach each project with the conviction that there are unique and sophisticated solutions to all design problems regardless of size, scale or budget. Our commitment to the synthesis of both modern design and sustainable building techniques brings a distinct perspective to our work and we are excited to have a number of projects ranging from a single-story home to a 24-story mixed use rental building that exercise this blend. ZH believes that quality architecture is a prudent investment for both present and future generations. This is a philosophy that we share with our employees, sub-consultant team members and in the best of circumstances, with our clients. ZH Architects has been recognized with numerous architecture and design awards including an AIANY Honor Award, special mention in the AAI Awards, and recognition as one of six “New Practices” by the AIANY chapter. ZH has also been widely published in a number formats including in the New York Times, Elle Décor, Curbed, Houzz and the Architects Newspaper. ZH, as a thought leader in sustainability, is often invited to lecture at conferences in the US and Europe and has also been retained to create webinars for the construction industry.
