TEK REF is an Italian company, based in Sardinia, Italy that has been producing ready-made wood-fired ovens for 20 years, under the Zio Ciro brand. One of the two founders, Luca Pieri, had always been familiar with refractory materials and ovens since his childhood. Initially, TEK REF began operating as a small company, selling exclusively in the domestic market. Throughout the years, the business grew in terms of quality and production capacity, two factors that allowed it to expand internationally and start selling in over 50 countries. Our Zio Ciro wood/gas fired ovens, 100% Made in Italy, are entirely produced in an artisanal factory by high-skilled workers with years of experience in the field, using top-quality machinery that delivers top-quality products. TEK REF quality control system is compliant with the UNI EN ISO 9001-2008 regulations and, from 10.01.2013, the company has adopted the organizational model outlined in the Italian Legislative Decree 231/231.
