Ziptool is bringing a unique tooling system for press brakes to the market. As sheetmetal parts become more complex and batches become smaller, fabricators from over the world choose more and more for automated tool place systems. The existing systems does not gain productivity drastically. That makes it sometimes difficult to justify their cost. Ziptool solves this issue by rethinking the existing press brake tooling concept and came up with its patented unique solution : In stead of using automated manipulators replacing standard tools before every batch we keep the tools in the machine... by integrated a linear motor in the upper- and lower toolhoders we are able to form the right toolset for the bend just in time.
