Zoey and Zander's Guide to Success is a financial literacy workshop for children which offers a published book and journal, as well as a coloring book--a fun and engaging way for students to learn more about money and entrepreneurship. Being able to manage money goes far beyond balancing, spending, and saving. Focusing on creating goals, exercising leadership, and practicing diligence are just a few of the qualities that children need to be champions. According to research, elementary students make great gains in regard to their understanding of economics. "Piggy Bank Pioneers" ages 4 through 7 will have fun learning financial concepts through interactive games and activities focused on saving, needs vs wants, and much more. "Mini Money Managers" ages 8 through 12 will learn the importance of managing credit, budgeting and investing. "Economically Empowered Teens" ages 13 through 17 will attain the knowledge that allows them to use debt to their advantage while building their wealth as we focus on creating a sound budget, strategic goals, excellent credit, limited student loans, and a mission to achieve fiscal success. At approximately the age of 12, children’s understanding of economics is “essentially adult”. This is why we believe young people should be exposed much earlier to financial education. By serving as a catalyst for change in the lives of young people, we seek to aid young people in realizing and actualizing their full potential.
