When I was a little girl, I would spend my summers and all holidays with my Nana + Pops in Celista, BC, all the way up in the bush, as we would say! They had acres of land, which included the biggest garden ever. We would pick carrots and eat them fresh, the flavour was perfect! It was the beginning of my love for cooking, family time, creating memories and the country life. We had a chicken farm next door and each morning I would get up bright and early and go collect eggs, gagging every time I went in. The smell was awful, but I loved it being at the farm. Each summer, Nana would share her canning with me, showing me how it was done so I would know her recipes just like she did. And of course, we would make dinners together! Family recipes and family meals are at the centre of all my favourite childhood memories. Every visit to their place gave me so many incredible memories and the most valuable life skills. Starting ZoGood Snacks is bringing all my most cherished memories and recipes to life again. Making this food brings me so much joy and love to my life each day. Each batch has been made with all the love + passion I had when creating them with my Nana.
