ZYNEYRO is a spin-out from the University of Copenhagen and Marigold Innovation, developing next-generation treatments for chronic pain without the current typical side effects. Scientific Foundation Built on over 15 years of neuroscience research, our platform targets the PICK1 scaffold protein. This is a key to the nerve changes that cause chronic pain, offering a novel approach to pain modulation. The Need Chronic pain affects 7–10% of the global population. Existing therapies are often limited by sedation, cognitive impairment, tolerance, and abuse potential. Zyneyro’s approach avoids these limitations. Lead Program: ZYN01 ZYN01 aims to develop a synthetic peptide therapy delivering rapid, reversible relief in models of chronic pain, without affecting normal pain perception or cognition.
