About Zytek Motorsport
Celebrating its 40th year, Zytek is a specialist motorsport engineering company dedicated to delivering exceptional value to its clients with innovative solutions. Originally developing engine management systems for the motorsport and automotive industry, Zytek’s focus has progressed to include Electric / Hybrid vehicles, and racing systems which encompass, chassis, engines, electronics and electrically-assisted gearshift systems. This impressive portfolio has enabled Zytek to create a global reputation for excellence in both performance and reliability, which has developed into a enviable proven track record in solving complex engineering challenges for vehicle manufacturers worldwide. Zytek’s outstanding capability came to the notice of Motorola in 2000, procuring 19% of the Zytek Group. In 2006 this passed to Continental AG who purchased all of Motorola’s automotive divisions. Continental soon raised their stockholding to 50% in Zytek Automotive and then in 2014 became 100% owner after purchasing the full shareholding. Since 2014, Zytek Automotive Ltd became a 100% owned subsidiary of Continental Engineering Services including the “Zytek Motorsport” brand.
