About 000 Foundation

Founded in 2020, the 000 Foundation exists to support and strengthen the health and wellbeing of Australia’s emergency services personnel — our first responders who run toward danger when others run away. The physical, emotional, and psychological toll of serving on the frontline is immense. Our mission is to ensure that no emergency responder, past or present, faces the impact of trauma or mental health challenges alone. We work to advance the welfare of current and former personnel across all emergency services — including fire, police, ambulance, and SES — with a strong focus on prevention, early intervention, and long-term support. This includes: • Funding mental health initiatives and research • Raising awareness and reducing stigma around mental health, trauma, PTSI and suicide • Delivering education and resilience programs to support responders and their families • Backing community-led projects and events that reduce the risk of traumatic callouts • Providing emergency relief and support for responders in times of need Through partnerships, donations, and the dedication of passionate individuals, we’ve created initiatives that not only help responders survive — but thrive. We believe the best emergency is the one that never occurs. By supporting prevention and preparedness in communities, we reduce the trauma our responders are exposed to and strengthen public safety. Our vision is simple but powerful: a healthier, more supported emergency services community — for today, tomorrow, and long after the sirens stop.
