About 1st2 Achieve Training

Who are we ... 1st2 Achieve work with community sports partnerships, consortium's, police, youth offending teams and social inclusion programs to reach out and transform the lives of young people, families and communities by providing training and employment opportunities to youngsters who are disadvantaged, disengaged or at risk of offending. We believe that given the right opportunities everyone can learn, succeed and become valued citizens. We use sport and leisure activities to encourage young people to be more active, get involved as volunteers and participate in training programs to gain qualifications to increase employment opportunities particularly in the Sport and Fitness sector. Our work increases self awareness, self esteem and responsibility which increases good physical and mental health, reduces crime and anti social behaviour. We also work with organisations such as Outdoor Activity Centers Gyms Health Clubs Sporting Clubs and Leisure Centres to up-skill their staff in turn increasing productivity and providing the company with a competitive edge. What we do ... Working closely with our partners and employers we deliver a range of courses and programs to train paid and volunteer staff, occupational skills they need to do their job successfully, providing youngsters with relevant and respected industry specific qualifications and Key Skills. Our delivery is refreshingly flexible, holistic and modern. All training and assessment is conducted in the workplace so there is no need for candidates to leave their work to achieve these industry recognised qualifications.
