3GNY is a NYC-based community formed by grandchildren of Holocaust survivors, to carry on the stories and memories to future generations. As a living link, we preserve the legacies and the lessons of the Holocaust. Our mission is to educate diverse communities about the perils of intolerance and to provide a supportive forum for the descendants of survivors. "WEDU" (We Educate), our education initiative, is the premier educational initiative to train grandchildren of survivors to learn and share their family history in classrooms. Developed under the guidance of Facing History and Ourselves, along with support from Yad Vashem, WEDU prepares participants to learn and teach their family stories.
