About A3G Initiative
Veteran Founded - Veteran Managed The intent of the Annual Amputee Archery Grant Initiative – A3G is to introduce or assist an amputee with the sport of archery and bowhunting for improvements in mental health, physical fitness and quality of life; encouraging our recipients to “Overcome Obstacles Through Archery”. Aaron Ritter, Founder and President of A3G, is a retired Navy combat veteran who lost his leg in a traumatic motorcycle accident in 2012. Aaron made the life decision he would not allow the incident and limb loss to end his career and define his life. Aaron used outdoor activities and physical fitness as methods to overcome his mental and physical challenges, transforming disabilities into capabilities. The sport of archery and bowhunting are two of the tools Aaron relies on and the A3G Initiative is intended to provide the same opportunity to others. "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves." Phillipians 2:3
