About ABC Special Start
The Association of Behavior Consultants (ABC) is a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing a wide range of services to children and adults with developmental delays, behavioral challenges, and learning difficulties. Qualified as a vendor in 1979 by the California Department of Developmental Services, ABC has served over 5,000 children and adults in the Northern Bay Area since its inception. ABC Special Start is a division of ABC Services which provides Early Intervention and Prevention services for children 0-3 with developmental delays, disabilities, or behavioral challenges, as well as education and support to their families. The staff ABC are highly educated and trained in addressing the diverse needs of children with a wide variety of developmental disabilities and multiple handicaps. ABC has a large staff and is able to meet the needs of hundreds of families in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. ABC Special Start is now offering our home-based Early Intervention Services, Prevention Services, and Parent-Child Play Groups for children 0-3 in the East Bay and San Francisco.
