About ACLAÍ
We are a personal training company founded in 2013 and based in Cork city. Our mission is to promote physical and mental wellbeing and to contribute in a positive way to our community through our work. The mainstay of what we do is helping our members establish a meaningful and enjoyable movement practice through our personalised coaching sessions at our city centre location. We also run regular social events and get togethers including our monthly book club and Lón Mór long table lunch events. ACLAÍ was founded by Ainle Ó Cairealláin to provide an alternative take on health and fitness, integrating quality movement training, professional coaching, and social get togethers as a way to promote physical and mental health, and community spirit. Ainle studied at the University of Limerick and holds an honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science, and a research masters from the biomechanics department at UL. He qualified as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) in 2009, Precision Nutrition coach in 2010, and Certified Special Population Specialist in 2018.
