We are a family firm based in the market town of Nantwich, Cheshire. We have been providing independent financial advice since 1998. Managing Director, David Pritchard, has over 30 years' experience as an independent financial adviser, helping clients to enjoy their lives safe in the knowledge that their finances are well-managed and working hard for them. His son Alex is joint managing director and a fully qualified independent financial adviser, having worked in the business for over 15 years. Both David and Alex, along with David's wife Kay, are joint owners and directors at Applewood Independent. We have a team of 16, with three advisers supported by 13 experienced staff, providing an extensive skill base and a wealth of knowledge for our clients, ensuring they can trust the advice we give to them. What sets us apart from other financial advisers is that we are truly independent, meaning the firm is not tied to any specific companies, sectors or funds. For clients, this means they get the best advice and their hard-earned investments have more opportunities to perform to their highest potential. Our investment management services ensure clients' hard-earned money is made to work, providing them with an income, growth or in many cases, both, allowing them to enjoy life to the full. Whatever stage in their career, our pension planning services help clients navigate the complex landscape of flexible access drawdown, putting them in the best possible position for retirement.
