About Agfert Fertilizers Pty
Agfert Fertilizers is a family owned and operated business that has been supplying fertilizers to farmers since 1975. Our expert staff and intimate knowledge of local markets specialise in catering to the needs of clients, not only primary production, but across many industries. Over the years the demand to increase our one stop shop for farmers has seen us diversify and we now exhibit a comprehensive range of domestic pet, animal health, rural supplies as well as our ever expanding farm chemical and fertilizer range. In 1975 the McArdle family started out as a small enterprise selling and delivering bagged and bulk fertiliser from Avon, in the Adelaide plains. Then in 1986 the business was relocated into Balaklava, SA with a 400t capacity storage facility, continuing to focus on customer services and logistics. The company now boasts a storage capacity of 40,000t with a blending plant and two out loading facilities. Today our extensive customer service team combine a wealth of knowledge to provide effective assistance and advice to you, our customers. We are always looking to build and develop on what we offer, with expansion into new technologies and products wherever we see an avenue to grow and advance the business, particularly towards sustainable agricultural practices.
