AW has always taken pride in sourcing a relevant wine selection and providing a bespoke customer service since it was founded by Fraser Alexander in 1981. In 2018 Alexander Wines joined the Dunns Food and Drink Family. Dunns, one of Scotland’s best-known food and drink suppliers, is a family business, with a history dating back to 1875 when a 26 year old Joseph Dunn started his soft drinks business in the east end of Glasgow. AW is a people orientated company which aims to work with the Scottish on and off trade to be your partner in wine. We understand that no two businesses are the same. That’s why we deliver a personal, responsive service tailored to the unique needs of each customer. Whether you're curating your first wine list, seeking fine wine, training staff, or looking for something unexpected to elevate your menu. Our expert team tastes, debates, and hand-selects every wine in our portfolio with passion and purpose. We proudly import wines from South Africa, France, Italy, and Spain, and work closely with key partners ABS and SOV to offer exclusive access to world-class portfolios — covering a range of styles and price points to suit any business. It is our mission to be the go-to wine supplier for Scotland’s hospitality and retail sectors, to help them achieve their wine goals, whatever they may be.
