Almec Pty Ltd is an Australian family owned and operated manufacturing company providing a full sheet metal fabrication service including: Laser cutting, CNC punching, Folding, Guillotining, Nutserting, Spot welding, Drilling, Tapping and Assembly. At Almec, we manufacture and supply sheetmetal parts and products for a wide range of industries including Electronic, Transport, Medical, Building and Gaming with fast lead times and absolute attention to detail in all our sheetmetal work. Through our selected subcontractors, we also provide MIG & TIG Welding, and all surface finishes including Plating, Powder Coating, Anodising and Screen Printing. Almec was started in 1991 by Alan J Skinner. A graduate Engineer, experienced Corporate Manager and former Australian International Rugby Union player, Alan's passion for the business and policy of reinvestment in plant and equipment has seen it grow from its humble beginnings in Dee Why to its current operation in the heart of Auburn. Alan is still very much hands on in the daily operation of the business, guiding his team with his engineering and management expertise. Almec's mission is: To develop long term relationships with our customers by supplying sheet metal products to the customer's required level of precision and at competitive prices. To employ and retain experienced and qualified staff who can consistently and reliably fulfil our customer’s orders.
