About Almerico
We are not the biggest and we certainly aren’t the best. But we do try! Almerico Ltd was originally formed over 10 years ago to specifically deal with insurance repair works for both insurance companies direct and building repair networks. The business has grown to approximately £2 million turnover covering HU, YO, DN, WF and LS postcodes from it's operations in Hull and Leeds. All building repair work claims are undertaken by our directly employed tradesmen from a broken wash hand basin to extensively fire or flood damaged properties. All jobs are managed by a qualified Contracts Manager and Building Surveyor familiar with scoping insurance repair work across a range of differing schedules. Our staff are trained to understand general insurance terms and policy and are able to report concise, accurate information to assist the client in making decisions as necessary. Our records and diaries are fully computerised and we use bespoke project management software to facilitate accurate detailing of each job. Dedicated office staff assist managers to ensure claims are started and completed on time and client systems updated to ensure clear communication between all parties. Completed works are inspected to ensure a consistent high standard of workmanship is achieved, that total customer satisfaction is achieved with the works and subsequently accurate paperwork, including certificates and detailed invoices, promptly submitted. Our operatives are hand picked and subject to a continuous training and educational programme, toolbox talks and periodic one to one reviews. They must all wear company uniform, carry ID cards, CSCS card and conduct themselves within our written company rules and policy. They are aware of the importance of working in occupied homes and ensure full protection is afforded, works being completed accurately, and cleaned thoroughly before departure.
