About Altergaze
We are a technology company that specialises in creative content and proprietary hardware development — games, visual effects, interactive installations, product development and WebGL, both as services-for-hire and our own IP products. Currently developing Hover Grease, a multiplayer top-down hero shooter video game. Alpha Release launched in December 2018. Closed Beta launched in May 2020. In 2014 Altergaze launched the Altergaze HMD, a 3D printed smartphone based Virtual Reality headset. Successfully funded via Kickstarter, the Altergaze HMD offers a stereoscopically accurate solution by using a combination of fixed interchangeable lenses and specific mathematical formulas. This makes Altergaze a headset that offers an immersive 110 FOV experience in a compact and wireless package and that is truly compatible with any smartphone. In 2018 Altergaze developed iNFLiCTED an interactive VR game for smartphones where you play the role of a soul lost in Purgatory available on the AppStore for iOS. Set in Purgatory, a graveyard as far as the eye can see, iNFLiCTED is an original adventure story about saving your soul in a place where there is little hope to be found. Available on iOS on the AppStore.
