Desto (Pty) Ltd is the initiating partner of Altivex 624 (Sec. 21 Company with Reg. No. 2007/029164/08) and applied to the Department of Labour for Altivex ESDA Community Based Projects to become an ESDA according to the Act. The application was approved and Altivex ESDA CBP was appointed by DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR (Reg. No. MO9/7/15/3/GP/16) as an: •Employment and Skills Development Services & Human Resources Development (ESDS & HRD Branch) •The Registration of employment & Skills Development Agencies (ESDAs) Altivex ESDA CBP was created especially for the purposes of supplying services as a Department of Labour appointed ESDA. The ESDA is the operational training vehicle for DoL in service delivery concerning education and training for learners. Altivex ESDA CBP is registered for purposes of managing delivery for the implementation of learnerships and apprenticeships in terms of the SDA (Skills Development Act 1998, Act no. 97 of 1998), MTA (Manpower Training Act 1981, Act no. 6 of 1981) and other relevant legislations. Altivex ESDA CBP has flexibility to Project Manage learnerships and apprenticeships across one or more industries/sectors or geographic areas, depending on the capacity and availability of infrastructure to do so.
