With this premise, AMEPA started its first product development in 1984 in Aachen, Germany and installed its first slag detection systems in 1986. These systems have since become the industry standard, separating AMEPA as a trusted global market leader for years. With its branches in Cleveland, Ohio, USA (AMEPA America Inc.) and Shanghai, China (AMEPA Trading Co., Ltd.), as well as its global representative network, AMEPA is active worldwide with innovative systems. In steel mills, aluminum rolling mills, and the automotive industry, AMEPA measuring systems are subject to the most harsh, heavy industrial applications, which must be incorporated into the system design to ensure a reliable process flow. Intensive individual testing of the components, as well as a complete system acceptance, guarantees quality products with high availability and long service life to ensure clean steel and a perfect surface.
