Amigos Translate is a Tasmanian-based, -owned and -operated provider of interpreters and translators . We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and offer pre-booked or emergency interpreting services as required, day or night. Our interpreting services focus on Hobart and Launceston, with some languages locally covered for on-site sessions in Devonport and the North-West. Our service is absolutely reliable, confidential and impartial. We are able to service medical, legal, business, personal, educational, conference and voice-over scenarios. We can cover virtually all languages, whether in the spoken or written word. All our interpreters are employees (NOT Sub-Contractors), meaning you can rest assured there is no liability to your organisation/department should anything go wrong. All our interpreters are covered under our professional indemnity, public liability and workers compensation insurance. Also, a large number of our interpreters are NAATI accredited, reducing risk further and providing some assurance of quality (see www.naati.com.au) Our translating services have state-wide and national coverage. All our translators are NAATI accredited. For most languages we can organise a local tour guide in your own language while staying in Tasmania. This can be organised in co-operation with other service providers to suit your needs, level of comfort and personal requirements.
