We connect international students with local American volunteers through our: 1) Amigo Friendship program-Volunteers extend friendship to an international student or two throughout their time in America; 2) Welcome Reception- annual concert and reception held early in the school year to welcome international students and scholars; 3) Monthly events- Events through the year provide international students from metro Atlanta to get to know each other as well as American volunteers; 4) Thanksgiving Program- Matches students with families or individuals for a Thanksgiving meal in an American home; and 5) Christmas International House (available for international students studying anywhere in the US)- A 10 to 14 day home stay in sites around the United States over winter break.
