Founded in 1995 in Portugal, Aneid Lda. has affiliates in Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. Aneid Lda is focused on marketing both neuromuscular taping products (Class I medical devices) and mushroom nutrition products that have clinical support and / or specialized training to support healthcare professionals in select health situations. The products are prescribed without reimbursement by healthcare practitioners to their clients. In 1996, Aneid was the first European firm to market Kinesio neuromuscular tapes in Europe and instrumental in establishing a series of neuromuscular taping (NMT) courses. (In 1997, Aneid Lda hosted Kenzo Kase´s first European lecture on neuromuscular taping for physiotherapists in Portugal). Depending on the country, the NMT courses are targeted to physiotherapists, nurses, sports massage therapists and tissue specialists in either post stroke recovery, lymphatic drainage, paediatrics or sports rehabilitation. In 1997, Aneid affiliates began marketing Mycology Research Laboratories´ mushroom nutrition products in their respective countries. Since 1999, the two firms have jointly conducted over fifty (50) preclinical and clinical studies to confirm the safety and efficiency of mushroom biomass nutrition products (https://www.mycologyresearch.com/articles/clinicalarticles ). In 2017, under a joint-venture agreement with Mycology Research Laboratories Ltd, Aneid Lda. constructed a state-of-the-art mushroom cultivation facility in Portugal that has both ISO 22000:2018 certification and organic certification (EU and UK).
