About Animal Exhibits and Design
Our extremely dedicated staff works closely with our client facilities to make sure the exhibits they want are the exhibits they receive. We ensure that curators, keepers and educators are intimately involved in every step of the process so there are no surprises. It is our goal that all aspects of the exhibits fulfill the needs of every department of the institution. It is imperative we portray the environments as accurately as we are able. We feel the best way to do that is through first-hand participation. We are a team of naturalists who never miss an opportunity to go on a field trip and “live” the exhibits that we are charged with recreating. We strive to include those elements in an exhibit that greatly add to a more thorough understanding by the visitors of the ecosystem being depicted. The texture of the substrate, morphology of rock formations, detailed murals, and live plants all serve to further this goal. It also greatly contributes to the health of the animals housed in the exhibit by providing them with a familiar environment in which to live. Animal Exhibits and Design does everything in our power to deliver the most beautifully functional exhibits – on time and on budget.
