Antfarm is a diverse group of artists, coming together to form a supportive nurturing environment. Here, we utilize the talents and energies of each other to foster growth and further our education. Antfarm strives to create exceptional work and share it with the community. The artist collective was started in 1993 by 8 recent graduates of the NC State School of Design. They rented and renovated a 1925 warehouse in historic Boylan Heights, just outside of downtown Raleigh. Antfarm has hosted so many artists over the past 30 years and has been a hub of creativity and culture for the Raleigh community.
