Entrepreneurial, dynamic, and imaginative: Motivated to present a new, unique, and revolutionary lighting concept to the world, the six founders of APL, each with many years of experience in the lighting industry, joined forces in 2021 to pursue precisely this concept. With the help of an enthusiastic small team and collaboration with experienced international partners, this was realized within a very short time: a Lego-like luminaire system with a miniaturized design (5/8" diameter), in six different lengths, six different light and two exterior colors, 12 different optics for targeted light control, and unique, easy to install connection systems for in- and outdoor use. The lamps are universally applicable, but new concepts are constantly being derived from this foundation, be it an outdoor version, one with battery contacts, or complete luminaires for different applications.
