Significant changes and events occurred during year 2009 after the effects of the economic crisis originating in the U.S.A. at the beginning 2008 spread all over the world. These effects also reached Italy, when Hamilton-Sundstrand decided to initiate a restructuring plan which included the dismantling of the local Sundyne sales office. At this time Paolo Fanton, Emanuela Saronni and Enrico Sciuto decided to start their adventure and ARCHIMEDE Srl was born. Archimede srl was founded on May 19th 2009 and officially started its activity as Representative and Distributor of Sundyne and Sunflo high speed pumps, with the addition of Sundyne high speed compressors and original spare parts on July 1st 2009. Sundyne Corporation’s range of products include high speed centrifugal pumps and compressors, mainstream centrifugal pumps, magnetic driven sealless pumps, for applications in oil & gas and petrochemical processing, pulp and paper production, food and beverage, power production and many other types of industry. The professional experience gained by Paolo, Emanuela and Enrico through their years as Sundyne employees has without a doubt lead Archimede Srl to their consolidated position on the Italian market as well as improving communication and customer relationships.
