About Arizona Serve
Arizona Serve connects passionate people with transformative community projects to fight poverty and make a difference. We offer over 200 AmeriCorps State and VISTA placements in Pima and Yavapai Counties. Our AmeriCorps members work on exciting projects that include: - Building a network of partnerships to support to a community school in a Tucson-area middle school - Sharing STEM career opportunities to youth in Yavapai County with GEM Environmental - Working with opportunity youth to connect them to educational or career pathways that earn above the median income of Pima County All AmeriCorps members with Arizona Serve receive a Segal Education Award that can be applied to tuition or student loans. Our members who are 55 years and older can gift this to a child or grandchild! In addition, some positions offer additional benefits such as a living allowance, Certificates in Civic Leadership, and other benefits.
