About Art at the Park

Art at the Park is an initiative that aims to promote and encourage the local art scene in Amman by providing artists, musicians, and writers a space to unleash their creativity in an interactive and collaborative setting. This is a first of its kind cultural fair where locals get to grab a bite and experience open-air activities such as enjoying live performances by local musicians and appreciating artists’ work within a range of art mediums such as chalk on the floor, live painting, live clay sculpting and many more. Meet the artists, talk to them, purchase or just view their boutique works while walking in the park. The event will be composed of an interactive creative space with both live music and live arts, handcraft booths & local startup vendors, and finally an array of delicious food outlets offering organic and heritage ingredients. Goals - Create a unique & memorable experience through a blend of Art, Music & Culture. - Provide young artists writers and musicians the opportunity to showcase their talents to a significant number of attendees, increasing awareness of Arts, Culture & Music. - Create an interactive setting for creative civic engagement. - Offer local vendors the opportunity to exhibit their handmade, Jordanian heritage, and startup products. - Share literature with the public in collaboration with local libraries and book vendors. - Promote creativity, innovation in arts & music through street performances and live acts, planning an artistic event, provide a networking platform for the creative scene in Amman, and execute onsite workshops.
