About Artemisia Absinthe: La Clandestine and other fine Absinthes
We specialise in absinthe, offering the very small batches made by Swiss master distiller, Claude-Alain Bugnon, to the world. La Clandestine Blanche, made to the 1935 recipe of moonshiner Charlotte Vaucher, is now in 15 countries and is a leading absinthe in markets as far apart and as different as USA (notably California and New Orleans) and Asia (Japan and Malaysia). Hand-crafted in the birthplace of absinthe in small batches and probably the world's most famous "blanche" absinthe, La Clandestine Blanche is now joined internationally by La Clandestine Verte (previously known as Angélique) and Butterfly, a 1902 absinthe originally from the USA. The portfolio now offers an absinthe style for all drinking occasions and for current and future lovers of absinthe: a style and strength that may be more suitable for those just starting their absinthe journey, and more herbaceous, stronger blends which will appeal to the absinthe connoisseur and lover of cocktails.
