About Artist Advocacy Network

The Artist Advocacy Network is a new and innovative organization dedicated to connecting artists everywhere with each other and people that inspire them. They have a refreshing perspective on how art should be promoted and strive to create awareness for outstanding work through the exhibition, creation, and collaboration of art across a variety of mediums. Co Founders, Shaun Oppedisano and Dillon Buss, saw the potential of the artists around them and the lack of a centralized channel in which to express, communicate, and connect with their peers and mentors. Inspired by the serious need for a common ground amongst artists in and beyond Boston, the Artist Advocacy Network was born in November of ’09. The Web site acts as an online publication with features, galleries, reviews, and interviews of well-known artists as well as a networking forum to give all creators, status aside, an opportunity to connect with anyone and everyone dedicated to the same mission. So far, the network has grabbed the interest of over 2,500 people from all over the world and is growing quickly.
