About Association of Chinese American Physicians
The Association of Chinese American Physicians (ACAP) is a non-profit professional organization of Chinese American physicians established in New York in 1995. Today, ACAP has grown to over 700 physicians, mostly from the metropolitan New York and New Jersey areas, but also includes chapters in Westchester, Philadelphia, and Washington as well. Our Mission is to foster programs that enable physicians to form a professional community in the practice of medicine, provide opportunities for physicians to participate in the governance and decision-making of health care policies that affect the communities that they serve, promote and develop a cooperative working relationship among physicians, and provide opportunities for physician education and professional development.
