AZTERLAN is a Technology Centre specialised in metallurgy and metallic transformation processes. We offer R&D services, as well as characterisation and testing services of added value that contribute to improve the competitivity of metal mechanic industry, working side by side with the companies. AZTERLAN promotes research excellence and is aware of the role that must play when disseminating and transferring technology to industry. For that sake, AZTERLAN collaborates with other scientific and technologic agents of reference at national and international level. AZTERLAN aims to become a European reference in metallurgy, promoting simultaneously basic research, knowledge generation, applied research and technological transfer to achieve a more competitive industry. With more than 30 years of experience, AZTERLAN offers a holistic response to industry needs by providing Advanced Technological Services, that fulfill its technological research and transfer work, offering support to more than 1,500 customers from different industrial sectors such as the automotive, wind energy sector, aeronautic, marine, railway and machine-tool industries, among others. AZTERLAN is a Technology Centre specialised in metallurgy and metallic transformation processes. We offer R&D services, as well as characterisation and testing services with great added value that contribute to improve the competitivity of metal mechanic industry, working side by side with the companies. We belong to the Basque Technology and Research Alliance BRTA which gathers 17 scientific and technological agents of the Basque Country and more than 3000 researchers.
