About Balanced Health Solutions
Dr. Dale Kelly, DC Born and raised in Nevada, Dr. Kelly is an original “Sparks Homegrown” boy. After graduating from Sparks High School, he embarked on a two year mission to Missouri for his church. Upon returning to Sparks, he met Chris Maughan, the woman who would steal his heart. They soon married and started raising a family. Today they are the proud parents of four boys: Joshua, Grant, Matthew, and Cameron. In addition, they have 3 wonderful daughter-in-laws and 3 grandkids which they love to spoil. Dr. Kelly completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno and Truckee Meadows Community College. After completing his degree, he and his family moved to Portland, Oregon while he attended Western States Chiropractic College, from which he graduated in 1987. The following year, Dr. Kelly and his family moved back to his hometown where he opened his own successful and thriving private practice, better know as: Balanced Health Solutions. Over the past 26+ years, he has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education with an emphasis on functional medicine and nutrition. He is currently working on an advanced courses in clinical nutrition. In his spare time, Dr. Kelly enjoys spending time waterskiing with his family at Pyramid Lake or mountain biking and hiking through the Sierra Nevada mountains. Dr. Kelly is also a member of Washoe County Search and Rescue. He devotes several hours each month to training and working with this team. He is also an avid runner, and likes to enter a 10K race every once in awhile just for the fun of it.
