About Barnett Music Studio
We work with professionals through a few key programs, all of which center on the voice. Vocal Development for Adult Professionals is a specialized program that helps working adults strengthen their voices. The design is tailored to each individual, whether they want to develop their presence as a leader or in meetings or simply want a creative outlet to contrast with their professional work. Holistic General Music is a general music curriculum that teaches performance practice, music literacy, deep listening, and general creative development, with a focus on singing. It's suited to learners of all ages, but especially to adults who want to discover their voice. Music Theory is specialized tutoring and instruction for high school through graduate students. I offer a rigorous, multi-genre lens to traditional theoretical approaches. Barnett Music Studio is directed by Nate Barnett, a Grammy-winning performer, composer, and educator. He is co-director and co-founder of the Uncommon Music Festival in Sitka, Alaska, and sings with the Grammy-winning ensemble The Crossing.
